Bored Spikes
I took some pictures a while ago before I went to Shannon's wedding and I just now got them off of my roommate's camera. Upon reviewing them I'm very surprised at just how BORED I can manage to look when I'm not smiling. I get this a lot however, whenever I'm just "neutral" I look annoyed or depressed. I don't know if this is something wrong with my face - or maybe I'm just always smiling so when I'm not people know something is wrong~
I hope it's the later because I like my face.
Also I'm tired of my hair. It's short and there isn't anything to do with it. So I got some gel, cut my sideburns down and did something. I think I like it but I don't know.
Also this picture gets funnier the more I look at it.

Doc Makes Jell-O Shots!
So I have some booze and I have some jell-o and I don't work for two days.
What am I supposed to do with all of this? Make jell-o shots of course! I've been mixing drinks for about a month now and I'm still pretty horrible so I have a good idea on how epically bad this will go down.
Oh well - here it goes.
Step 1
Find the flavor of jell-o you'd like to prepare. I'm preparing something that my boyfriend will drink without complaint so I am making a type of fuzzy navel. Peach schnapps and orange jell-o/juice. There wont be any lemonade but I don't think it would be that big a difference in such a small bit of jell-o.
Step 2
Make it stupid difficult to actually make. I decided to go with a jell-o mold that isn't a bowl, not a cup, not even a shot glass. I will be using orange rinds for my jell-o.
Step 3
Carve out the orange pulp and fruit, leaving the rinds in tact. Keep the actual orange fruit and stuff separate, you will want their sweet supple juice for later on. Make sure when you scoop it out with a spoon or whatever you keep as much as the rind as possible, you'll want a thick skin on the orange.
Step 4
Prepare the jell-o according to the directions, make sure that water is boiling HOT and you dissolve the powder 100% completely. If you do not then the liquor will collaborate with some enzymes and shit and it will not set. After you dissolve the powder remove the liquid from the source of heat.
The next part is important: let the liquid cool to room temperature. The reason is that the next step involves putting in the booze. And if you put it in too quickly then you will lose all the alcohol in the booze and be left with not much of anything except normal expensive jell-o.
So while you're waiting go over to that pulp, blend it up and then push it through a strainer and enjoy some 100% fresh squeezed orange juice. Don't drink all of it however!
Step 5
Mix the booze into the jell-o. Check the back of the jell-o box and see how much cold water they want you to mix into the mixture. Replace that number with some cold booze. I chose some cheap ass Peach schnapps as said earlier.
Measure it out.
You know schnapps taste pretty good.
Damn good.
I don't remember much about the next four hours.
At all.
After you get all that measured out collect yourself and add it to the now room temperature mixture behind you.
Step 5
Mix a bit of the OJ into the booze into the jell-o mixture, stirring while doing this all.
Step 6
Set up your oranges for liquid holding. This seems to be the easiest way, the muffin tray so far has been used 0 times in my house so I don't care if I spill all around it or catch it on fire.
Step 7
Pour. No really just pour.
Step 8
Refridgerate the jell-o for a few hours.
Also it may help to have some room before you do this.

While I was waiting for the jell-o to settle I realized I cut 2 and a half 2 many oranges for the small 3oz box I bought. This left me with nothing to do with the rinds, and time to kill.
But I'm sure I'll find a way to pass the time.
I mean what CAN'T you do with 2 orange rinds?

Step 9
Cut the fuckers up! After a few hours they should be set. Because of the alcohol and orange juice added they are cloudy and opaque but they will still taste delicious!

Welcome to 10-107
So we've now landed at our new apartment. The only thing we have left to do at our old place is get a few car trips of miscellaneous shit out of there and wipe everything down. The new place we are at now is a bit smaller but it feels a lot nicer. Maybe because it's new right now. This place however has given us a year long lease - so we won't be moving anywhere soon. It also has a nicer complex - finally off the highway and includes things like a pool we can USE and a weight room which probably wont see much use.
I grabbed Eevee's camera, because mine is broken for flash and snapped a couple photos. In our little hallway there are only two doors, which is nice. Cuts down on the amount of people that will be walking around, just like the last place. Our "welcome" mat has followed us through times and is actually the coolest one I've ever seen.
In our front room the first thing you're greeted with is our same couch and crappy dumpster recliner. Over to the right is our "dining room" which isn't used for much other than holding crap or playing some cards on. Speaking of which playing cards on a circle table is pretty retarded, just a little FYI.
The view from our kitchen actually is a good view, it almost looks like a real living room. It also leaves plenty of space for playing the Wii and taking in the full cinematic awesomeness of our speakers. I wouldn't have believed it until I saw it myself, but I think we need a bigger shelving unit to hold all our video games and movies.
Down the hallway there are 4 doors, a 5th one at the end that leads into the closet. There is the smallest room, which Eevee took because he knew most of this time wouldn't be spent there.
There is also the master bedroom, which has a bathroom and giant walk-in closet inside of it. The closet is a good size. Such a good size I could afford to put my dresser in there and have it not be seen when you look straight into it. Just like the life-sized nerd in our hallway this room seems to come with a life-sized bed dweller. I want to get a real bedset soon, the boxspring on the ground like that isn't the most attractive looking piece of furniture we have - despite the bed being kind of expensive. The master bathroom is actually pretty big. The fan is a bit loud but unlike the last place it's just loud - not loud AND broken.
To top it all off there is the best room in the house: the computer room. In here we have set up our x-box set up as our media center. Because there is no cable box in here we cannot watch live TV, which means we will probably go back to torrenting a lot more stuff to watch in here. There of course is my computer and vee's computer.
All and all it's a pretty spiffy place. We're on the ground floor like I stated so we can DDR and stuff without too much worry - and I can turn up the base on my speakers just a small bit.
And no place is complete without the resident headcrab hanging around.

I hate the snow. It's really cold rain that sticks to things and THEN gets it wet :( I have to admit though it looks really pretty. There is something with my car I've found in all this wetness, the passenger side floorboards are always wet. I think it's something with my rear wheel well - maybe when it stops being so wet I'll jack up my car and pretend I know what stuff is supposed to look like under there.
I've ordered some WoW TCG boosters, a box of them to be precise. This will allow my roomie and Bryan to get 8 boosters each out of them, which is a pretty good deal for 100 bucks. Part of me wants to go out and find peon tournies and join them but because I am a weird anti-social kind of dude I probably wont ever unless it's at a con. Also I'm not 100% on the rules, I'm always afraid I've been doing the game horribly wrong - despite playing tons of matches against my two opponents AND asking tons of questions on the WoW TCG website.

Plate O' Food
So in our last shopping trip we spent a little over $200. This is about the norm but every time we go there it seems to get more and more expensive. Not by a lot, only by 5 or 10 bucks every two or three times. I guess this can be account for the fact that we're now buying meat and stuff to make real food instead of just shit you throw into the microwave.
I can't remember exactly what I ate of this plate, it may not even be mine. I know I bought some corn-dogs recently, but this isn't the plate I used. Speaking of corndogs I really love mustard. I mean... really love mustard and relish. The only reason I eat hotdogs and corndogs is to have something to hold my mustard and relish.
I'm thinking about getting pizza tonight. We have a coupon to get 2 large 2 topping pizzas for $20. Sounds like a good deal.
Powerade
These fucking things were 20 for $10 at QFC a few weeks ago. While I didn't get 20 that's pretty good deal for some gatorade knockoff stuff. I also have a ton of Coke Blak in my fridge know. My mom thought it would be cool to send me six 4 packs of it with my car title. While that means I have about 25+ bottles of it*
Box o' Nerd
I'm starting to want to buy more clothes now that... actually I don't know why. But I do. So in this box I got my World of Warcraft shirt and hat. Recently I ran across this website: uncrate. It's a web magazine for guys who like stuff. Browsing through I have to say I want just about every single thing on there. So they gave me an option to make my own list. Cause it's already October, have to start thinking of shit I need to buy myself in the "holiday spirit".
Fast Food
It's OK to have fast food if you're active right? I hope so. I haven't been eating McDonald's or anything but I have been killing down Subway sandwiches like they were water. While I feel better eating them I have a funny feeling they aren't any better because of the amount of cheese, oil/vinegar, and mayo that they put on them. I could put less or tell them to give me "lite mayo" but at that point I'm really just ordering a diet coke with my slice of cake.
I say this because when I'm at work it's three to thirteen hours of me just walking around. I take a stab and say I walk about 3 to 5 miles a day, depending on how busy I am. It's good for me and I feel healthy even though I have put on weight a bit. It may be mostly in my head but I think I've put on at least 10 pounds since I've been here. I don't really care about seeing the scale, numbers just seem to make things complicated.
I did be bad however and before work I went and got two breakfast sandwich things from Jack in the Box. I know it's pretty bad for you, especially the breakfast ones but jesus christ the calorie must be a unit of flavor or something because those are damn good.
edit: I just checked out subway.com and wendys.com. I get a 6" Spicy Italian and the fat content of that is 25 (9 saturated) and the fat content of the double burger I usually get there is 39 (16 saturated, 2.5 trans). While I am at Wendy's I get a large soda and fries and at subway I get a soda and some cookies so I'm not really sure if it's that much better. But like I said it feels better so there. TAKE THAT MOMTOK
Soda Cans
We drink a lot of soda here. And by we I mean I have a soda a day and Eevee has like 40 of his own brand. It's usually something horribly gross like Diet Coke, which he'll drink and then complain about getting a headache and then going to drink another one. There's something wrong with him.
Yeah don't really have much to say about the soda, I was going to talk about the Coke Blak here but I decided to talk about it up there earlier to pad that section. And I guess I'm really just padding this section so it seems bigger.
Gran Dorifto 4
I got a craving to play GT4 recently so I pulled out my wheel and gave it a few tries. And I emphasize few. I think I did like 4 test courses and then got bored of it. I don't have a good setup for it and so playing a realism game while on a plastic chair just feels wrong. That and I don't have the patience for unlocking it all anymore. Sadly this is the last great Gran Turismo because the next version will come with no cars and make you pay money to buy EACH car and EACH track you want to use. While this might be cool as an addition you shouldn't base your entire game around having to buy and unlock shit to even make the game playable.
On the topic of video games we have been trying to find out where we can pre-order a Wii. I've called a few places and they say next week most likely but digg has been exploding with information about PS3 pre-orders coming tomorrow. Along with all this info comes the inevitable "OMG THE WII IS AS WELL". But like I said this is Digg, and pretty bad for real information.
Personal Effects
I just wanted to call my shit that.
I was asked to go out to a museum by Jackie and her friends today. I turned her down because I had stuff to do but the real reason is I don't feel like I should. It's like this every time I go out with friends, I don't feel like they want me to go out, they are just inviting me because they know I don't go out. Another part of me also says they want to hang out with me because I'm a fun guy. I don't know. I've always been this anti-social socialite person.
Hopefully it will pass.
My car keys are also here, and I have finally registered my car as a legal vehicle in Washington state. Only took me like 8 months but yeah. Next step is to get a license in this state before I get pulled over. Sucks because I'll have to get their weird ass vertical license until I'm 21. And I want to be 21 so I can have more places I don't want to go out to.
Pokemon Games
We have to have like every copy of every pokemon game ever made in this house. Including the new DS one that's currently only out in Japan. My roomie thinks he can read japanese and so he picked it up. Really sad to see him play it and look something up every two seconds.

Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Disc
Oh yes. This is a duel disc for the card game like you see them on the crappy TV show. This is not owned by me, no no. That kind of epic nerd status is held by my roommate Eevee. He actually wears it and tries to duel things. It's just mindblowing someone this nerdy exists.

Today I got myself a new phone. Yeah yeah I know everyone has one of these phones but it was free for me and I haven't had a "cool" phone ever. My friend has a USB cable and I found some keyboard drivers for it so now I can put music/pics/etc on here without having to pay more for it. Which is buenisimo.
Also if you haven't gotten it please go and test/use Firefox beta 2 and see what all the hubbub is about. The tab bar looks nicer, they gave it a sleeker design, lowered the amount of memory it has and even added in a spell checker like Word has. Hopefully this will make forums a bit more... legible; not to mention my own blog!
It has been really awesome the past few weeks here without Lando in the house. I don't have to worry about any shitty snide remarks or having to buy something and worry about people not paying me back. Sucks he has to come back so soon, but by next May he will be out of the apartment, if not sooner. We have gone out to eat a lot and one of our more recent outings has led us to Ruby's, a typical Americana diner. While we were kind of full I spotted a desert called only "The Big Banana"
I had to have it.
We ordered it and the waitress asked us if we were sure, it was a big one. Bryan was with us so I was sure we'd finish it (love you dear :P). Then it was brought out to us.
While we fought valiantly against the frozen beast ultimately we were defeated :(
Still. Was good as hell until it all sat. We had to go walk the mall after that so we didn't feel as bad for consuming like 6,000 calories in 20 minutes.

Almost a Month?
Jesus fuck why did I go this long without updating my blog? I feel like Bryan or someone. Well anyways I have a lot to talk about and not really any want to type that much so this might be a long post or it might not be... a long post.
First things first.
Moved
My last post I was just informed that we have 90 days to get moving. This post I am here to inform you that we have found, and relocated to - a new place. It's about a mile away from the old place and it's 100% better in every respect. How much better do you say? Well let me list out the reasons.

One thing that is really nice about this is we are paying for a 2bed 2bath and getting an extra bedroom. What happened was we signed the lease for E307, the apartment we are in now. It has been the one we have had our eye on for quite some time now and when we went up to do the walkthrough with the matainence guy we noticed we had a third bedroom. The odd part is nobody seems to notice this was... wrong. Not him, the intern, the property manager herself, nobody. So until we get caught (which would be major suckage) we get to enjoy this really nice place for cheap right now. And even if we are called on it the rent for this floorplan is only $1145 max, which is easily split three ways.
It kind of just keeps following that pattern so I'll just stop right there. I've snapped a few pictures of the place, but it's hard with my amature photo skills to capture how awesome it feels once you're inside, the sense of space is just amazing.

When we did move our internet was shutoff on the 15th, then rehooked up on the 17th. Or at least that was the plan. I was supposed to be awake at 10am on the 17th for the Comcast dude to come and hook up the 'net. I swear on my life I was up at 10am, working on my computer because it wasn't working right then. But apparently when Eevee went to go check outside for any note he did find a note from Comcast telling us to call and reschedule. No problem at all, just give a little ring and the soonest they would get here is... the 23rd. :|
Now that may not sound like a big deal to normal people but when you have 3 people in a house that do nothing BUT chill on the internet you are asking a lot. So to kill the time I played a lot of Warcraft 3. It was a lot of fun because I got to learn a lot of warcraft lore, which I probably should know figuring I drop 20+ hours into WoW a week. The sad part is now that I have internet I probably will not be playing that game or any other of my single-player games for a very long time :P

Redesigning
So after dropping off Eevee we (Lando and I) decided we wanted to move the room around a lot. How we had it set up before the comptuers, futon and the TV were all in one room. While this meant maximum "don't move from TV or other shiny boxes" enjoyment, it was getting cramped and at least in my position - hot as hell to sit.
We don't have many pictures of the old setup so I'll get around to drawing a diagram if I get bored enough. We basically moved all the comptuers from the "living room" to the "dining area/room". A long time ago we went out and bought a table to eat on from IKEA.
We've eaten on that table twice total. Most of the times we eat at different times and different places so moving that out of there an into the living room while odd looking - didn't really mean much change. In fact because the table is in a better TV viewing position we might even USE it now. (Sad but haha.)
So yeah we have a few pictures of the new setup.

Tetris This one Motherfuckers
I was SO CLOSE to getting 999 lines on Tetris DS. I sneezed and didn't hit start, which caused me to build up more than I could handle, then I made a few mistakes and game over'd :/
So close. Then again I gave vee something to do when I get back (try and beat my score). It's not too hard once you get the block spinning down.
Also, my brother is home right now for 24 hours, it's great to see him. He made me a card which is better than my present. By like 100 fucking percent. He is awesome for doing this. THIS IS THE CARD.
He got me Nintendo Power and Led Zepplin's 4disc anthology I've wanted for so long. This means so much coming from him because the only money he gets he has to bust his ass for at the group home's offsite job thing they do.

Happy Birthday!
Well as of yesterday I am now 20 years old and back in CA for a few days. As I returned home today I looked out my window and saw a most interesting dog thing. Standing up I realize it's not a dog at all~
It was an emu. Apparently a baby and the dad got out from the hills behind me and the trainer was trying to keep it from running away, so was following it for a good long while. They are interesting looking things, the baby was cute.

Breaking and Entering
So as I left for work today I headed off to my and noticed my hood was popped...
You know that sick feeling you get in your tummy when something you KNOW is bad just happened. You just got caught in a huge lie? Or you just broke something priceless? Just got in a car accident? Set a baby on fire?
Yeah I had that about now.
So I walk around and realize my car's driver side was unlocked. And my hood was propped open. This is very odd. Immediatley I assume I have been broken into and open the door to go through the damage. I notice my change drawer has been emptied out. (total loss, maybe $2 in spare change). My glove compartment had been opened and my mom's Ray-Ban fugly glasses from the 80's were taken (total loss, negative $3. Honestly they were fucking ugly). I look around and find my nametag, which was pinned to my server apron.
... They took my server apron. All it had was some books to present checks, some pens, and two lighters. Total loss: 2 bucks?
Then I realized I have a 6-CD changer in my trunk. I pop it and run around to go look. Yup :/ gone.
Wondering why my hood was popped I walked aorund noticed that the mounting bracket holding my battery down was unscrewed. The battery was still there just the one nut was gone. So... I'm not sure what they really tried to do there.
I'm not really devestated by this all, I just feel more violated than anything. I mean I lived not too far from San Francisco, San Jose, and Oakland for all my life and I get broken into here? Bumfuck nowhere? Odd.
So I got a locked garage to park my car in now, which is better.

Cail's Wreck
Ok, if you don't know Cail (Schwagner for you high-school people) got into an accident on the 4th of July.
He was drunk and going through the canyon. Nobody was hurt but his shoulder and his jeep. I went out to eat with him tonight and got pics of his jeep. Amazingly it still turns on and everything works.
It's just not going anywhere quick.
Here is the back passenger side. Messed up that tire pretty bad.

So Sunday morning rolls around and about 6:30am I get a call from my dad; he wants me to come out to his jobsite in San Jose. He is putting in some huge pipefitting structure thing, and it's the largest one in the country so he's proud he gets to be the one to install it all.
"Bargh, fine. I'll be there in a couple minutes." (He wants me to call him back in 10 minutes).
With 4 hours of sleep (plus the night before I had little sleep cause I had to get Nimbus from the airport early) I get dressed and kind of wake up coon. I tell him to go back to bed, I'll be back in about an hour, we planned to wake up around 8:30 so he had about 2 more hours of sleep left.
I start driving down the road that connects to the highway and as soon as I turn onto it I give my dad a call, he then tells me to go back home: they won't allow me on the secured jobsite.

So on my way home I stop and grab some donuts for the both of us, and get coon a frappacino because I love him 'n shit. Not wanting to wake up him at 6:45 or something crazy stupid like that I turn on the TV and get online for a bit, just waiting and waiting for time to tick by. Around 7:45ish I got kind of bored just sitting around so I went to go lay in bed with him, which kind of woke him up. After we hussled and busied ourselves awake it was around 8:00am, a little ahead of schedule but oh well.
We got dressed and everything (tails, and leather bondage fun for coonie) then took off towards BART; after shower, donuts and etc.

This float was just run by two runners, and a dancer up top. This is an awesome fucking idea. Wonder how he got up there though.

For some reason I thought of Eevee and his dislike of The Badlands in WoW. I really don't know what they are.
This was trippy. There was a camera and it broadcast the crowd 30 feet in front of it. I tried to get a shot of myself, but a bunch of people had their arms raised up and it was hard to get a clear unblurry shot of it.
This was just funny. There was an entire fucking group of these people with slogans, signs, and logos. Apparently they think circumsicion is murder or something fucking crazy like that. I know it isn't really needed and it's kind of silly to do nowadays (I'm circumsized so shush) but it's not THAT big of a deal is it? Get a staple gun and some leather and MAKE yourself some foreskin.

This float just shot gold glitter back onto itself. I guess it was a cool idea, but must have sucked for anyone... y'know... ON THE FLOAT.

This float must have sucked to put on. There were a group of people just pulling and pushing it, it was like a big fucking wagon. And the parade was like 2 miles long so... yeah.

Like I said, there are plenty more pictures in the directory I linked before, and there would have been twice if not more the amount of pictures if my battery didn't die.
The parade was about 4 hours, from 10am to 1:40ish pm. It was over 2 miles long. After it got out we headed to the celebration area but god damn; that place was busy. I know it's the largest gay celebration in the world, but that was a LOT of people in one place. Coonie was starting to get a bit paranoid and it was getting fun not being able to turn around without running into another person. So after the parade (i got beads omg) we just took bart back home.
The entire weekend we were over at SF we were stopped again and again about our tails, people just loved them. And beause it was pride weekend, I got to wag my ass very gay like whenever I heard the word tail, only to hear laughing and happiness from whoever was watching my ass at the time.
This one guy came up to coonie and I on the first day and just started to ramble on and on and on about lots of shit. I can't even remember what he was talking about other than he wrestles and stuff. I guess it was cool to talk to someone (he was nice, not crazy or anything). He dragged us back to his booth and took some pictures of us and our tails.
During the parade someone stopped us, got a picture of our tails, then got a picture of me and coonie kissing all romantic like <3
And people on the BART train kept looking at us with our tails and etc.
It was a shitload of fun.

This weekend was a lot of fun. Sucks that he had to go back home so soon, but he needs to work so we can have a place together. I also have to get going on actually finding a vehicle. I might buy from a private seller with a loan of from the bank instead of a dealership.
And my parents are going to talk me into staying here until at least christmas because they wont have anyone here, my brother is locked in some program for 6 months with no home leave.
I will stand firm. I want to leave. I'm sorry my parents won't have anyone here and I know they might need me but I really feel like I have to do this. For myself. I need a chance to grow, and a chance to just be on my own - even if it is a mistake.
