It's The Doc!

I don't know why I'm drawn to my blog again, probably because I'm on a design I created and can fucking maintain without voodoo witchcraft and whatnot. Not that anyone leaves any feedback anymore, which I don't blame them - my comment system is a shitfest that is down more times than it's worth.

I should have cleaned today. I went to IHOP and got a better ranking in BF2, but other than that I didn't do a whole lot with my day off. Actually no, I enjoyed my day off - that's doing something. I'll clean tomorrow when I have work so that entire day is blar. Such a better idea, no?

My parents sent me a coffee maker, grinder, and some coffee beans to grind up. I'm starting to drink more coffee now, which is awesome because I love it; I just haven't had much time nor way to drink it. I thought they would have gotten that for my birthday, but apparently not.

Also my birhtday is in less than two weeks, on the 10th. I will probably be flying down to California to visit with family and spend time with friends, so around that time try to free up schedules. Hopefully I will get time with Matt~ he's a sweety and I miss him the mostest. That and my brother may or may not be on a homepass during that time, so I'll get to see him as well, all will be good.

Easter is also coming up, which sucks because that means I have to work an all you can eat holiday at work. They never go well. It's always 5 tables full of work for just one table, and because 10% already went to god, your tips are only 5% on that day (Sundays as well).

Tomorrow I have work late on, hopefully I will make around another hundred, we just opted to buy cable TV and a little extra pocket cash wouldn't hurt :D.

Also tomorrow is April Fools' day. I was going to do something awesome for my blog but once again it has snuck up on me and I don't have much time to arrange anything. So uhh... Yeah. That's your prank, a big 'ol nothing.

I also have been going through a lot of photography websites as I look for backgrounds to use on my monitor. It makes me kind of shamed that the pictures I take (while not trying to be works of art) come out so incredibly bad looking compared to these.

Then I realize these people do this for a living and have professional training and equipment and a drive of which I do not have etc etc etc.

I have a want to create something again. I don't know what. I don't think I want to draw anything, or take a picture. I just redesigned my blog so it's not that. Not exactly sure what it is. I'm pretty sure I just want to clean up the apartment, that always makes me feel better, despite it becoming ground zero twenty minutes later.

My iPod has taken a beating. I replaced the battery (go me) but for some reason the firewire on my motherboard doesn't work and it can't charge via USB. So its all messed up :(

I did get on Fortune Fox quite badly, but he talked to me maturely and he wanted the image removed. He was ticked off quite a bit when he didn't get an email within 24 hours. Since he cannot access IRC or Java stuff, I decided to try to talk for him. He used the forums for PMing. You can talk to him for his side of the story if you like via the forums... I know none of you would believe me because I was indeed negative many times. But if doc can make a page just to piss someone off, he can remove an image just as fast. This includes lando and all the other administrators. I went in the chatroom and tried to be nice and reasonable. But it just drove me to the point of saying the wrong things the way they acted *sighs* and I do appologize for this.

FINALLY

So I've been here for over a month now and thing have about settled. Shopping and bills have become a bit more routine and things have worked themselves into the everyday. Translation: Bored.

Also, while I still have a good amount of money left, I'm starting to worry about how much I will continue to have. I've been buying dinner and stuff for the roomates living here and while I'd love to do such a thing, they believe I'm doing it out of pure charity every time. I feel bad asking any of them for money and Bryan says I need too but that isn't something I can do. Then again after saying I'm worried about money I realize I get paid tomorrow, I get tips today and tomorrow, and I have about $300 in tax refunds coming, so I'll be fine. That and I put a dent in my wallet upgrading my computer, so this is brought on by myself.

I went and saw V for Vendetta a few days ago, Thursday I believe it was. That was a crazy movie (good) that did the Wachowski siblings a bit more justice then the second and third matrix movies did. The general theme of the movie is (suprise) Vendetta. But a politically theme vendetta to be percise. Think of 1984's Big Brother kind of feel in the future. The main character in the movie is more of an idea than a person, and is on his crusade to free everyone in his country from their government.

The action was well mixed with the very well written dialogue and multi-layered story. I'd see it again. I wanted to also see "Thank You for Smoking", but it appears it is somewhat of a limited release, I can't even find it online to torrent off anyone.

Like last week this weekend I have to go in "early" on Saturday and Sunday. 2:30 on Saturday and 1:00 for a double shift on Sunday. While the money is good on these days (because I'm there for 8+ hours), it's a strain to have to wake up that early (sad I know). I usualy have work after 4pm, and I get home after 10pm. I stay up for a few hours and fall asleep around 3, then wake up around 12/1pm. It's a normal amount of sleep and whatnot, but when they throw in these "early" days it messes up my sleep schedule.

Also my birhtday is coming up (April 10th) and I'm not sure what to do. I'm only going to be 20 so I can't go out and do anything I couldn't go do yesterday, but I don't want to just sit inside all day :P I would try baking a cake but after fuckign up cookies both times I don't think I want to try baking for a long time again.

Now that Lando lives with us there seems to be a bit more activity in the apartment, which is welcome. We still don't have any kind of TV so the only "entertainment" we get outside of random internet stuff is eachother. Chibi comes over every weekend it seems and that helps, but makes the smaller place crowded.

Alex is about to get a job at Staples (we think). He is being called into a second interview, which is always a good sign. I, and we all, hope he gets this job; he has been feeling a bit blar about not being able to pay anybody back for anything, and this will help him out. Also it will get him some money saved up so he can go move away with Neko.

Also: I'm not sure if I've put it here so I will now. When and if Alex does go to live with his girlfriend, Bryan and I will be making our way back to California to live hopefully for the rest of our lives. I like it up here in Washington, but it's not as lively as California is.

I found out something interesting as well. My friend Estelle who works with me came from Denny's to work at a higher price per plate resturaunt. She said she made more money working there than she does working here. She couldnt' find a real reason other than the fact people may have felt sorry that she worked at Denny's but $140 on a Sunday shift wasn't uncommon for her. That makes me wonder if it's the price per plate, or the situation of the resturant that makes people tip better.

Also: I'm still working on a new site design so forgive the fact I haven't been writing much, whenever I come here to make a new entry I get tempted and click the Template button instead.

So yeah, I'm working on a new blog design, it will *hopefully* be up soon. So in the meantime we have a webcam up of our apartment. It will be very boring but yeah, I like webcams.

Lando lives with us now. I really should update this journal but I'm busy trying to design it :(

What the fuck is going wrong with my desktop? First my D: drive destroys itself and now my windows installation is crap. Right now I'm reformatting and installing Windows 2k because the XP cds don't want to work. :(

I think I have finally messed up my sleep schedule for this month. For the past few weeks I have been falling asleep around 4am and waking up around 2pm. :(

I know this isn't that bad but when I work at like 4pm I get crazy because my entire day seems lost or something. Also; it's cool that I am working 5 days a week but when they only give me one day off it kind of sucks, I get no time to relax and stuff :/

So hopefully after this 5 day stint of work I will get TWO days off in a row :( *hopefull*
