So I bought my new monitor right? This thing cost me $1,000+, so fuck yes I'm going to brag and show it off. So in #liveyiff I go and start talking about it, being silly and not very serious.

So I wake up this morning to a sound of a knocking. "Who should be waking me before noon?"

Meandering out of bed in a shirt and trying to put on pants I open the door and its the UPS man.

So in Un'Goro I find this raft. I find this raft around... 9pm?

Well I finally finished the quest chain it spawns. It basically is a HUGE and LONG chain dedicated to The Legend of Zelda. The main quest giver is a green cloth-clad gnome named Linken. You have to feed a beast that goes "Grumble Grumble", there is an easternmost penisula that holds a secret, etc etc etc.

But it's a LONG quest. So what are the rewards?

Because I have now gotten my openID server to work, I can comment on other blogs and stuff and use my installation as a refrence point for authentification. This is cool because I won't have to sign up for any weird accounts or use TypeKey (honestly SixApart, this wont kick off like you hope) just to leave a comment.

But I have realized that when you come to my blog, you have no idea who I am if you don't read all the entires. This is why I have now created a profile page. Gives you a very quick rundown of how to contact me and what I am about. I also linked it up in the sidebar, just in case you are ever dying to see my picture.

As I drove from my haircut to Taco Bell I had a weird flashback of highschool. Taco Bell was the place my friend Jason and I went to eat if we were short on cash during lunch. I got to thinking about that, and how we'd always go to McDonalds.

I remember like an overcastish kind of day, I'd walk out and meet him, jump into his jeep and we'd go get food. I'd pay for him one day, he'd pay for me another day and vice-versa for like a year solid. Driving back to school we'd just chill on one of the streets near school in his Jeep and eat while chatting about nothing.

These are the moments I miss most about highschool. Sure the classes were mostly boring and the "college preperation" stuff they tried to cram down our throats ended up being mostly nonsence, I miss the atmosphere. I knew Monday to Friday I was going to be at this place from 7:30 in the morning to 2:20 in the afternoon. I'd be expected to do my best, look presentable, and be awake.

I don't have that kind of structure now. Now I have work 4-6 days a week, which is cool I guess but I don't have real friends at work. I just have co-workers I'm really cool with. I don't go hang out with any of them unless it's a special party or event of sorts, I'm too young to go barhopping with them. Even in college I didn't do a whole lot at all, I saw these people as "temporary friends".

We'd be cool, maybe study together once or twice but when the semester/quarter was over I'd never see them again. It sounds elitist but I didn't want to waste my time on a friend like that, I'd never get attatched. Frats and stuff seem kind of dumb so I never wanted to join, and because I transfered so much, any friends I did have were quickly broken off and forgotten. College became more of a school than highschool; which was expected, but not to this extent.

Highschool was a place I could be for 6 hours with all my friends. In every single class I had friends, people I'd hang out with after school. They were my friends cause I saw them for the entire year, I had plenty of time to connect and attatch to them. Now I've been at work for 2 years now, I have become friends with co-workers, but I still don't go out and do anything with them. I'm like the only real "gamer" there.

They always wanna go out and drink and stuff and I'd love to join with them, but I am just too young, which blows.

But yeah. Number 4, supersized. That was Jason's meal. Double Quarter Pounder with cheese, supersized fries, supersized drink, and then he'd finish of my fries. He's shorter than me by a good 3 or 4 inches, and weighs less (maybe not so much anymore because of army training). Somehow he'd always finish that all off though. I'm just glad that I left highschool 2 or 3 years ago with a positive attitude and experience.

On an unrelated note, Nimbus now has a job at a resturaunt! This means once he gets going and finds out how much he gets paid and stuff we will be looking for a place, and this time moving INTO it. :D :D :D

Alright, other than the theme everything shoudl be back to the way I had it. I had a little problem getting the openID to work again, but now that its resolved things are good to go.

So I have just gotten the biggest paycheck I have ever recieved from Black Angus ($315 for two weeks). Also I have been looking into monitors, because I wanna buy a new one. After looking around for a bit I decided I will go with LCD flatpanel, as the ones Dell, Apple, and some others seem to be very kind to the gaming community.

I was originaly going to get the 19" Ultrasharp, but then I saw the 2005FPW, a 20.1" widescreen monitor. That just sounds sexy.

Right now I'm watching sale and deal sites, waiting for the monitor to go back on sale, earlier they have had it drop down below $400. While not very probable again, getting it around the $450 mark is something I'd shoot for because it comes out to about $600 with shipping and all.

Even though I do have enough money to cover that... easily. Yeah.

Also, Nimbus has an appointment today for another interview and he also has one tomorrow for another resturaunt. Hopefully once he gets a job and we see how much money he makes then we'll get the move going back again. I really hope coon is a waitering kind of person - because it does make you good money for not a lot of work.

And I want to design another look for this blog blah blah broken record and shit.

Because of so many people leaving work, they have me working like 30 hours a week. This is ok I guess but this means I don't have much time or days OFF work - it's like a fulltime thing. I don't go to school right now, so I guess that's reasonable, I shouldnt' be sitting around home all day. So usualy I have Thursdays off of work, by request, so I can go to the furmeets and coffee and whatnot. I think I will have to change that to Tuesdays off, because then I go and see my brother over at the group home therapy doodad whatchamacallit. And I only get to see him once a week so that takes precedence over friends, even if the therapy session part of it is very boring.

Not a whole lot else seems to be going on. I played EQ2 for the free week they gave me again, it didn't pull me back in, seemed too much the same. Also at the same time I'm getting bored of WoW again. This happened once before so I'm sure I'll get back into it, but I'm just stuck at level 56 with no real idea of where to go. And because I work so much I hate doing instances when I know I have to work or be somewhere later that day, because I don't know how long the instances usualy take and I don't want to be that guy who leaves 4 hours into something after he's got his quests and kickass gear out of the way. Same goes for Alterac Valley, I can't do it if I have work, feels like a waste of my time.

My dad for some reason bought a mountain bike. A... $2,000 mountain bike. I'm not sure why, other than he wanted one, but I better understand my own impulse buy proceedures. It's hard to talk us down from something once we get our mind and wallet set on it. I guess it's good in the end, because we have a lot of cool stuff we've wanted, but then again... money would be nice to have as well.

Such an odd dream. It took place in some odd house I've never seen. There was a guy in a pinstripe black suit, with a large ataché talking to Judge Judy and some wiseguy lawyer. They kept asking where the gun was or something and finally the guy realized something and said he killed him.

The judge and lawyer were a bit astounded saying, "Nobody admits to that, you're lying." The guy may not of have killed whoever but he was going to take the fall for it for some reason. More people show up and force him into a backroom where a million questions are then asked. The guy just shrugs it off like it's nothing and goes to look in this cabinent that is high up on the wall. When he shuts the cabinent, I am seeing through his eyes, so I'm assuming I'm the guy now.

As everyone asks questions I look up along the wall to see a smoking fuse, leading to a small charge over the top of the door. I manuver myself there and with 5 seconds left I rush out and shut the door, holding it tight. It goes off and I run to grab my keys and drive away.

I remember thinking "I just want to play video games, not be a murderer" or something lame like that. This makes the second weird dream I had in a row.

So yes. I had a lot to talk about but now I can't remember so much. Let me try to remember....

Moving. Yes. Today Bryan left his job at QFC because they are kind of douchey and didn't pay anything more than minimum. He will be trying to get a waitering job at Spaghetti Factory, or just anything that pays better. It's a small setback to my move because if he doesn't find a job by Halloween, I will be staying here through the New Year - not worth my time to move up there, get settled and whatnot, only to turn right back around and fly down for the holidays.

I have also come to the realization I make enough right now to live on my own up there. I'm sure the Black Angus I'll be working at will be busier and there for I'll make even more money so that makes it even more awesome. Example. I made $130 today, $100 yesterday, $98 the night before, etc etc. It's been like this for a good two weeks. I am making a lot of lot of money. And it's very cool.

I'm sleepy. This blogpost kiiiinda sucks.

Oh, that's right. I got a letter from my brother. He's still in the group home thing.
Damn that was a tough letter to get through. I really miss him :/

But all will be good.

So yes. In summary, I make the bling.

Oh, yes. I started to play Everquest 2 again, because they are offereing a free week to returning players. I haven't gotten any farther than I already have been again, but right now it seems kind of fun again. I might actually end up paying for EQ2 and WoW at the same time. Something I said I'd never do :|
Lame.

Also, the CS:S server needs to be cancelled, its just $41/mo. out of my pocket that I don't use... like ever. I feel kind of bad though, because there are regulars that come in and have set up a small community there and whatnot. But oh well :|

I got bored in Garry's Mod. This is basically all I do. Blow shit up.

I bought a new harddrive. I now have 250gb+80gb. Can't wait to format and reinstall windows for speed.

I think my lube gets here tomorrow.

Still level 56 in WoW. Got tons of rested XP, nothing to use it on. I've realized I don't run instances... at all. I will run lowbies through them when I'm higher level, but here is a list of them I've run for me in order:

Scarlet Monestary
Zul'Farrak

That's kind of sad figuring there are TONS more than just those. Oh well.
