It's The Doc!

Yeah. So let me run down my Windows Service Pack 2 fun. I wanted to get SP2, and for some reason (which I still dont' know why but should have listened too) auto update and windows update wouldn't let me install service pack 2. I have a legal copy of XP pro, so I was kind of annoyed I couldn't have the new update and such. So Bui sends me the SP2 link he used, that was straight from Microsoft's website - nothing fishy.

It installs, I feel cool, and it restarts. And thus begins the pain.

Apparently SP2 has some issues with ASUS motherboards, or cards, or something. I happen to have an ASUS mobo and an ASUS Radeon. :| What happens is it gets to the loading screen, and then just freezes. Safe mode doesn't work, last known directory/settings doesn't work - nothing. Ok, not a BIG problem, just reinstall my windows XP, set it to repair mode and I'll be fine.

But apparently my Windows XP CD has become damaged beyond help. I rememberd this as I tried to install and it asked to retry or abort the second file loaded :/. Great. No amount of cleaning or burning/copying this disc worked - it was shot and I was screwed. Ok, not a big deal, I'll just go back to windows 2k pro until I find a replacement disc.

So I install 2k Pro and it does it's little reboot thing. But the problem here is that when it reboots for the second half of the 2k installation, the crippled XP Pro installation tries to finish! Gah! What you doing! Take off every zig!

I'm still not sure what I did to fix that, but I get into 2k and start mucking around with it all, cause I figure I'm stuck with that now. Then I remember, "Why not download a copy of Windows XP? Hell, I fucking own it - the disc is just retarded." So I quickly begin to burn and backup all my critical files - I might as well format this bitch while I'm at it. So I manage to find a copy of XP Pro, with SP2 included.

Keep in mind, at this time I didn't know SP2 wouldn't work, I thought it was just a fluke. (Oh yeah. Trust me, this gets a LOT better.)

So it finishes in about 6 hours. I then hurry off to install Windows XP Pro SP2 :D.

40 minutes later I'm all but kicking my computer's monitor in as I come back to find it FROZEN ON THE FUCKING LOADING SCREEN - AGAIN.

Ok, something seriously isn't right - this isn't just a fluke, something must be wrong with SP2 or... something. I'll just boot onto my laptop and check them out. I do a quick google for "XP SP2 Freezes on boot" or something of the likes and I see "ASUS" and "Freezing" showing up a lot :| Goodie. So let's head back to Hazmat (the name of my PC), it's time to boot into 2k and get a non SP2 version of XP.

Yup.. restarting... checking mobo... dododoo... pressing f8... Go to Choose OS Menu annnd... wait. Where is my Windows 2k?

Hold on... I didn't format yet - where is this. Apparently Windows XP thought 2k was inferior and nullified it's entry on my OS selection menu. YEAH. I'M NOT ANNOYED AT THIS POINT OR ANYTHING.

Ugh. FINE. I REinstall windows 2k Pro, and this time don't even care about the settings. 6x8 rez, 16 fucking colours - I don't care. I get Azureus, I go to suprnova. OH LOOK AT THAT - THEY'RE DOWN. So I try to scramble up another site, which I don't know of any so Andrew helps me out and poitns me to torrentreactor. I start on a XP SP1 download, which finishes in about 4 hours. I go to play pool during that time.

I get back and burn it, then start to install. It warns me about not being able to upgrade, not in the same language or something. "Ok... that's odd." I go ahead and chose English as my language - things should be fine.

Here is where my hate for Poland grows.

So it reboots after installing. (I will make this up as I go.)

Odd, I picked english. Oh well - I've seen an Windows install long enough to get my away around it all. That was fine but the entire install was in Polish.

Once I get into XP itself - THAT is in polish. And it wasn't something simple liek spanish, portuguese, or even french. Cause then I would have a CHANCE at understanding that shit. Polish has some words that are just 14 syllables strung together with some funny marks and tape.

"Just find the language controls, then it will be fine."

So after four HOURS of "Jieblets" and "Taks" I find the language controls.

"Just find something United... or America... Or English.. or something."

Apparently the Polish call United States something like "not on that fucking list". And when I do find Hispanik (Peru), I thought "Ok I can understand spanish well enough to then find english and have a working install of XP."

Then things went on... couldn't get the language to switch. I got onto the net with a quick driver install and then read some news that I didn't want. Apparently you can't switch the language of the GUI - there are 24 versions/languages of windows. The only one that can do that is the MUI or Multi User Interface version, or some bullshit.

YIPPIE FREAKING DOO-DAY-FUCKING-DAY. :| :| :|

So now it's sitting back there. On that 2k Pro install, downloading 5 FREAKING COPIES OF WINDOWS XP SP1. One of these fuckers will work.

And why do you ask, don't I just stick with 2k?

Because I want my styleXP theme back. That's it.

Ok, this is for Ryan and whoever else wonder's where I was on Wednesday.

Let me start by flashing back to Tuesday.

I called in work and asked when I work next, Scott told me I worked on Friday at 5:45. "Cool, no problem." Then he asks if I want to have my name put up in case any shifts need to be covered. I said "Sure" and told him I can work Wed, or Thursday.

Now here comes the catcher

Scott told me he would have them call me or he would call if he needed me to pick up any shifts.

Wednesday came along and I was at home till around 11ish, before I headed off to school. At school I got a call from my friend, asking if I wanted to go over to his house.

I thought, "Ok, so Scott said he would call me if he needs a shift covered, but I never said I will 100% be there, I was a "just in case" backup kind of guy"

I get back home and find out Scott told Salina I was closing for Mel? Like 5 messages on the machine?

And I look like the bad one?

Good job manager type Scott guy. Next time don't assume. Cause when you assume you make an ass out of u and me.

I think that about does it. Yeah. I start school in about... 13 hours. Time for another long semester at a school I've grown not to like all so much anymore. Oh well. Afterwards I'm gunna go hang out with Mirgar, hopefully that will cheer me up from such a boring day.

I'm also going to see how long I can get away without buying any books. Last semester I bought this $100 geology book that I can't sell back. If I find it I might put it up on eBay. Hell, even if I make $5 off it, it will be worth it. Never used that POS anyways.

Cell Phone Bill?
Yeah, I knew my bill would never be the $41 a month I signed up for, but I really wasn't expecting to see $73....

And so far it's not letting me see what is costing me so much. I've used a total of 54 minutes, and 70% of those were in the nights/weekends/INcalling, so that means free. I already paid for the phone and activation, which was 40 something dollars...

I expect to be fighting this one shortly.

I'm in need of some sort of physical affection. Really bad. School starts in a few days (Wednesday the 25th) and I really am not looking forward to it. I have to spend money on books. Money I could be saving up for my move northwards. I have to renew this domain name, or you people can't read my blog - and I would have nothing to type.

I think I'm in a genuine bad mood right now. Most of it is because I can't see Bryan right now - I know it is.

He was pretty upset last night, silly guy started getting all worried about our future, and things going wrong and stuff. While I've told him they are only whatifs, and he shouldn't listen to them - I am actually glad he thinks so heavily into these things some times. I don't like the outcome of him being all depressed, but it feels good that someone is that worried about a future with me.

Hopefully he is over his friend's house by now getting some needed snuggles and talking done. I just wish I could be up there to snuggle with him. And that brings me to the original topic.

In a way I wish I could just snuggle with anyone right now. I got a hug last night. I don't even know who it was from. Some girl who knew Carlos or something. She knew me, which made me feel a little bad figuring I had NO clue on who she was. She hugged me out of a dare, because Carlos said I wouldn't hug back if someone just randomly came up and hugged me.

But yeah. I got a hug, and that was the only physical affection I have gotten since July 13th or something. A local fur (or used to be local) and I have been talking about meeting up and; I wont dodge the topic - having sex. But the more I think about it... the less I seem to want to do it. Next time I talk to him I may just say just that.

I just want Bryan right now. I want my love. I want to hold him as I fall asleep next to him - I want to look into his eyes and just never look away.

I miss my love, that's why today is blah.

AA 4x / Anistropic 4x: 50.67fps
AA 6x / Anistropic 8x: 44.23fps
AA 6x / Anistropic 16x: 46.55fps

The last one is everything maxed out, but I forgot to hit "Water Reflect All" so thats why it's actually faster.
Just a note: My shit was seriously tweaking before I installed those drivers. Trust me folks - they help @_@

I have been feeling very playful recently. Then I realized I got a haircut... and then I realize I get like this whenever I have a haircut. For some reason when my hair is short and I know I look good... I don't think it's odd but I just really want to play. Like bowling tonight, I had my tail on and I just felt very... basic? I felt like a playful fox to be honest. I just wanted to pounce someone and nuzzle, only to take off and hide, snickering at my own actions.

Unfortunatley there was only Cail and Carlos around me, and they aren't into the whole "guys pouncing guys" action or something. I dunno - I still am in a bit of AC withdraw, and moreso - an entire furry withdraw.

I miss being around fellow freaks. People that would just put on a collar and tail for the sake of feeling comfortable or something. I miss having someone just sneak up behind me and nuzzle, cause their bored.

Wait no, I know what I miss - I miss people TOUCHING ME. Yes. Not necessarily sexual (all though that would be nice at this point x..x;) but I just miss hugs. Honestly, I haven't had so much as a handshake since the day Bryan left back to Washington. And at this rate I wont have anything until I get to see him late next month.

Blah. :P

Moving to Washington
I'm going to do it. And I realized something just a few minutes ago. Transferring colleges will be very hard and probably cause a lot of problems and grief.

But if I can't do it easily, oh well. I keep forgetting I was skipped ahead a year in school - so if worst comes to absolute worst, I'm still A YEAR AHEAD of society. And who cares if I have to retake a bunch of classes or have to be there an extra year longer. Right now I don't know why I am going to college, so extra time there might help jump start my whole... "life ambition" thing :P

Well Cail just left, I upgraded his computer and made it litereally twice or three times as fast. I gave him my old box, and swapped the hard drives and whatnot. So now he has an extra 40 gigs, and a nice amount of SDRAM that we went and bought (god I love how cheap that RAM is :P)

Raging Waters
Well yesterday I was out all day at Raging Waters with Rin, Amy, and Chris. We origionally planed to have like 18 to 20 people, but... we are the only ones that comitted to going :P

We have a lame group of friends, oh well. I didn't get sunburned, which is a personal plus for someone of my whiteness. I'm all sore though from swimming so much.

And I don't really feel like updating this blog, I just want to for you all.

Well I just e-mailed someone over at CWU about where I should start with my transfer stuff.

Yeah, I don't think I told the collective public yet so I might as well. This is my plan for transfering north so far.

1. Take the final year here at SJSU (or one semester at Ohlone to save money)
2. Before done at SJSU, apply for enrollment at CWU, hope I get accepted.
3. Transfer all documents that I can up there (bank accounts, voter registration, etc)
4. If all goes to plan, move up to Washington.
5. Take either a light load of classes, or take a semester off.

note: Out of state tuition costs double, or a little more. Thats a large chunk of change. I will be saving up all my money, and I make about 10k to 15k a year working now.

6. Use the light load or a semeseter off to get a job settled.

note: There is actually a Black Angus 30 minutes south of CWU n..n;

7. Once residency is established (exactly one year after all documents transferred) take a normal load of classes.
8. Continue living life.

Transfering out of state sounds like a lot of work, but I have been giving a lot of thought into it. I plan to talk to a SJSU counselor when school starts, and during school breaks and stuff I will be up in Washington with Bryan, using that time to talk to counselors up there.

I have made a lot of long term plans, but I have never made one I'm so excited to follow through on.

Yeah, about the image right now. It gets like really hot in my backroom, and I was wearing a long sleeve shirt.

And now that I'm on my laptop, I can't like... get rid of that image.

Well I found out that I might have to get my wisdom teeth pulled like... tomorrow. Yeah. The only way I might get out of it is if we have to pay the deductable ($300 or something) because we don't have that much cash on us right now, because we have to move and all.

I'm going through my normal panic stages, but I'm sure once it's done and over with, I'll laugh.

But jesus I better stay knocked out the ENTIRE TIME. @..@;

Today
Well I went and saw "Harold and Kumar go to White Castle". Damn I don't know how this didn't top the box office this weekend. I guess everyone was too busy laughing at amish people over at shamalayananan's newest movie.

I went in and picked up my check today... wearing my tail. I got some odd quesitons about it - the oddest from Mike, asking if 1. I was doing it to get into a frat and 2. If it was a plug.

I said no to both, and just said I like to wear it - he invited me to some parade, which will be fun if I end up going. Mike's a character, hehe.

That was Monica R., she's a cute little spanish girl. She pet my tail for the longest time. Hehehe.

Before that me and Cail went over to Central Computers, where I picked up a decent 5.1 Altec Lansing stero system for my computer. You know - I gotta have it for my Half-Life shiznit. I may not install it until we move though.

Then we saw the movie with Carlos' girlfriend and her friend and her boyfriend. He was cool, we played DDR and I beat him by a small margin until the last song. We were doing all 9-footers, and we did Break Down (this one gave you 4 songs total) I gave up about 5 seconds before he did because I was so tired, but he was bar-hugging so he lasted that last flury of arrows.

Then we went to Denny's. God they have shitty coffee. Then I came back home to find my laptop has been repaired :D

I type this now in my boxers, in bed. Having to take a wicked piss because of the coffee.

Just bought "18" from Moby, downloading it right now. I just enjoy the electronic beats underneath all those classic sounding tracks - it's nice.

I don't know where my brother is, I left before I found out. Hopefully he is juvi - but I don't care much anymore.

I made $100 in tips today, so I feel good.

Cail and I went to a party, he had a /bit/ too much to drink, but I got him home and tried to sober him up some.

I swear to god it is people's life mission to get me to drink somedays.

I just want this long day to end, I want to curl up next to Bryan, let him know how much I love him - then fall asleep holding him.
